Unusual and extremely beautiful geyser in Nevada (USA).
Astonishing Fly geyser - the handiwork of people: at the beginning of the last century, a well was drilled here for a well, but the water jet made its way out only after 50 years. The water dissolved salts and minerals, which began to accumulate, forming a bizarre landscape, as a result of which a "tower" of one and a half meters grew, which continues to grow to this day. And the cyanobacteria and algae that covered it finished the job and "painted" it. Due to the geyser, which throws out three jets of water, about 40 pools of water have formed around it.
This geyser is little known to both travelers and locals: it is located on a private territory, so not everyone will be able to contemplate this beauty. In order to get there, you will have to ask permission from the owner of the Fly Ranch.
Where to find Fly Geyser:
The geyser is located about 30 km from the city of Gerlach, Nevada, on the Hualapai Plain near Route 34.
