Primorsky Krai is one of the most extreme Russian territories. The distance from the center affected the unhurried development of these territories. Initially, only military outposts were fortified here, and then - customs zones. Ussuriysk
It has been located in a hollow between the hills since 1866. In the past it was known as Nikolsk and Voroshilov. The oldest sights are stone sculptures of turtles dating from the 12th century. Tourists are attracted by the Emerald Valley Park. Within its boundaries, both man-made beauties and houses with recreated life of past centuries, and natural ones: a lake of lotuses and a fairy forest.

Founded in 1864 on the shores of the Gulf of the Sea of Japan. The port is the main source of the city's wealth. It was built by prisoners of the GULAG, was modernized and expanded many times. In addition to military-themed monuments and memorials, there is a Rock Garden and the Two Anchors monument, erected to mark the 100th anniversary of Nakhodka. Natural attractions - Lisiy island and Sestra hill.

Artyom
Named after the revolutionary. In the past, the city, founded in 1924, was the center of the region for coal mining. Here is one of the four gambling zones in Russia. Since 2016, the Blue Sopka ski resort has been opened. It is located on the hill of the same name and covers an area of 110 hectares. The local tourist and recreational cluster is called "Primorskoye Ring".

Arseniev
It is a city in 1952. City-forming enterprises - "Askold" and "Progress". The okrug is rich in archaeological monuments: fortified settlements, sites, caves, there are about 40. Tourists are attracted by Orekhovoye and Kazyonnoye lakes. There are especially many travelers here in spring and summer. They are interested in yew groves and lotus blossoms. The city park has a beach on the Dachnaya river.

Spassk-Dalny
The city received its status in 1917. The House of Culture is a place for holding mass events; the Ukrainian choir "Chista Krynytsya" and the Russian song ensemble "folk tunes" perform here. Aurora, along with other cinemas in the region, hosts the annual Pacific Meridian festival. One of the notable monuments is the Spassk Cement Monument.

Big Stone
It is located just 30 km from Vladivostok. Formed in 1947. A unique enterprise - "Zvezda", which specializes in work with nuclear power plants of ships. At the entrance to the city, there is a monument called "The Cabin" - part of a real nuclear submarine. There is a folk museum of a fishing collective farm "New World", as well as an exhibition hall, where temporary exhibitions are located.

Partizansk
At the time of its foundation in 1896 it was called the Suchansky Mine. The new name was given in 1972: the city at one time became famous as the center of the partisan movement of Primorye. Several monuments have been erected in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Also noteworthy is the design of the Partizanskaya hill, where a memorial was built telling about the Civil War. The city park, now in need of restoration, has been broken up.

Lesozavodsk
It has existed since 1932, a few years later it was transformed into a city. The name was obtained due to the specialization of Lesozavodsk in the past: it was the center of the woodworking industry. A monument to Lenin is erected in front of the railway station building. In the local park there are several sculptures and memorial signs dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War.

Dalnegorsk
Founded in 1897 with the status of a settlement. Until 1972 it was called Tetyukhe. 17 years after the renaming, it became a city. City-forming enterprises: chemical plant "Bor" and "Dalpolymetal". There are interesting natural monuments in the area, such as the Refrigerator Cave, where a fossil glacier has been preserved, or an islet with two rocky heights called "Two Brothers".
