Ingredients for making Thai soup

  • we need vegetable broth - about 3 or best of all 5 glasses of broth
  • a small piece of ginger root (piece) - enough and 2 pcs.
  • sprig of cilantro (small sprig)
  • red pepper is required - 1 pod is enough
  • garlic (it will need to be crushed) - 1 clove
  • tofu (diced) - 100 grams
  • soy sauce (we recommend Sen soi, but you can also use another one) - 2 tablespoons
  • real wheat noodles - 50 grams
  • medium-sized carrots - 2 pcs.
  • champignons - 100g
  • lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
  • cilantro leaves - required for decoration.

Cooking Thai Scented Soup

To start making a scented soup, we need:

Add ginger, all the cilantro, all the pepper and all the garlic to the heated vegetable broth. Bring the whole mass to a boil, then cover well and tightly with a lid, begin to cook over low heat for about 20 - 25 minutes. The second thing we do is marinate, we need to marinate the tofu cheese in soy sauce (Sen Soi or any other peppery sauce) for a whole 25 minutes, just while the soup is boiling.

Then we need to boil the wheat noodles and put them on plates for as many people as you like. Then, after setting the table, we run and strain the cooked broth into a clean saucepan, then add tofu with soy sauce, carrots, mushrooms and simmer all this mass for 2-3 minutes until the tofu cheese is soft. Next, everything needs to be beautifully laid out in plates of noodles, in the end you need to pour all the portions with lemon juice and, of course, decorate with cilantro leaves.
